Leads the day-to-day business of the Association as Executive Director and ex officio Board member.
Dr. Stefan Schwarzfischer is the Executive Director of the PharmaLedger Association, responsible for the Association’s activities and operations and serving as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors.
He holds a Ph.D. in Process Engineering from RWTH Aachen, Germany, and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across CEO, CFO, and COO roles — with international assignments spanning Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Botswana, and South Africa.
His earlier roles include CEO of Botswana Power Corporation and Board Chairman of Liquid Telecom Botswana. He is known for driving technological innovation alongside a commitment to ethical business practices.
