AstraLabel SOLO integrates with SAP via API. The typical architecture: SAP holds the master product data and manages the production order. AstraLabel holds the current approved label text content and manages distribution to regulatory repositories. The two systems are complementary — SAP does not manage structured ePI distribution to 46+ national repositories, and AstraLabel does not manage production orders.
We manage label changes through a change control process. How does that interact with AstraLabel?
AstraLabel does not replace your change control process — it receives the output of it. When a label change is approved through your existing change control system, the approved content is uploaded to AstraLabel, which then distributes it to all relevant markets automatically. Your change control process remains intact; AstraLabel handles the downstream distribution.
Can AstraLabel tell us which batches in our supply chain are associated with a superseded label version?
This is the specific value case for using AstraLabel and AstraTrace together. AstraLabel holds the label version state. AstraTrace holds the supply chain state.
