Who should be a member of PharmaLedger?

Any organization with a vested interest (business or otherwise) in healthcare should join

While the original PharmaLedger Project was EU-funded and organized, our products are designed to scale globally and address bigger healthcare problems that exist across the ecosystem.

There is no geographic limit to the association, and all healthcare ecosystem partners from across the globe are invited to join.

Do I have to be part of a company or organization to join PLA?

PLA is the venue for collaboration to incubate, develop, and launch Healthcare 4.0 products. While Membership is limited to registered entities individuals can also engage as contributors in the xLab without paying any fees.

Join our PLA Collaboration Platform if you want to contribute contribute funding and expertise to the xLab program. Members, non-member organizations and expert individuals alike are all welcome.

Patron Members

Convene alliances for specific use cases
Influence adoption of shared standards
Lead regulatory engagement strategies
Industry leaders primarily from pharma, distributors, and healthcare providers (but open to all healthcare-related organizations)

Patient Organization

Represent the voice of millions of patients within PLA’s network.
Advocate for patient needs and perspectives.
Uphold PLA’s core values of patient focus and transparency.
Influence innovation strategy.

Standard Member

Provide input and support for PLA products.
Influence innovation strategy.
Receive full access to qualified software and documentation.
Diverse membership including distributors, service providers, healthcare providers, pharma companies, technology SMEs, and standards organizations (open to all healthcare-related organizations).

Public Partner (NFP/NGOs)

Collaborate on a global scale to address complex healthcare challenges
Promote efficiency and affordability in healthcare delivery
Represent the public perspective within the DTE-H and
Registered Not-for-Profit organizations (NFPs), publicly owned organizations, or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

Patron Membership Fee

PLA Patrons are leaders in the industry committed to realizing real digital innovation through close collaboration with like-minded partners. They are also conveners who bring together alliances for specific use cases, influence the adoption of broadly shared standards and/or assume a key role for regulatory engagement strategies.

500,000 CHF

An unlimited number of Directors appointed by Patron class members whereby each Patron has the right to appoint one (1) Director within 90 days from joining the PharmaLedger Association.

After evaluation, membership admission requires completion of a Membership Agreement. Upon conclusion of the agreement, each member may choose to adopt specific PLA products, run nodes, take part in new developments, submit ideas for new solutions, fund specific projects, add existing solutions to PLA’s portfolio for launch and adoption growth, and more!
